The HEAL Society is proud to announce Okhesomi Rejoice Eshemokhai as the newly elected Global President of HEAL Society for the 2026 leadership year.

Following the Society’s official transition from a national student movement into a growing global community, Okhesomi’s emergence marks a defining moment in HEAL’s evolution from a vision birthed on Nigerian campuses to a platform now spanning over 100 universities, multiple countries, and regions across continents.

With over six years of active leadership experience across organizations including MediVoice, IFUMSA, CMDA, and ACJ OAU, Okhesomi brings to the role a strong track record of strategic coordination, institutional thinking, and people-centred leadership.

Known for her commitment to accountability, transparency, and measurable results, she has consistently demonstrated the kind of leadership HEAL Society was built to produce one rooted in service, driven by systems, and guided by purpose.

As Global President, Okhesomi will lead the Society’s global executive structure, oversee cross-regional growth, and strengthen HEAL’s work across health equity leadership, research, advocacy, innovation, and community-driven impact.

Her vision reflects a clear alignment with HEAL Society’s mission: to build a generation of young leaders who do not only speak about change but deliver it.
